Marie Laure de Decker began his career covering the Vietnam War, among other things for Week News before becoming Grand refer to the Gamma agency from 1973 to 2009.
Marie Laure de Decker has been recognized by his peers as the "Pope" of photojournalism that has not only traveled the world but photographed Man Ray, Duchamp, Prévert, Yourcenar, Arrabal, Toport,
Deleuze, Modiano, Gainsbourg and others. After traveling the world, from Vietnam to Chad and northern Chile, USSR, China, South Africa in the apartheid era, she has "found his ideal:
Woodabe the "nomadic Fulani in southern Chad who are self-sufficient, very attached to their herd of red cows with huge horns. Every year they gather for a big party on the occasion
which they wear make-up and parent, reproducing the gestures and sounds of birds parade to seduce women. They are a people that she also loves Marie Laure de Decker has therefore decided to
photographed one by one, to reflect the faces of those people who will be lost. This is a selection of these photographs to be presented at St Restitut.
